Information for Clients
Cancellation Policy
We understand that at times you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. As our service is in high demand, all clients must comply with our strict cancellation policy as detailed below. Due to Medicare regulations we are unable to apply a rebate to cancellation fees.
If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled commencement time the full consultation fee will apply.
If an appointment is cancelled within 24 to 48 hours of the scheduled commencement time 50% of the consultation fee will apply.

Please note: all Monday and Tuesday appointments must be confirmed or cancelled by 9am on the Friday prior.
Mental Health Treatment Plans
A Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) is a document written by your GP about your mental health. Your GP will include information in the MHTP that helps your psychologist to understand the challenges that you are currently facing.
In order to be eligible for Medicare rebates on psychology services you will need to obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral letter from your GP prior to booking your first appointment.
We recommend booking a long appointment with your GP to ensure that there is sufficient time to complete your plan.
Telehealth Services
We offer secure and confidential telehealth appointments that can be delivered via phone or video call.

Telehealth therapy is an excellent option for those living busy lives. We offer telehealth appointments at a range of convenient times for clients who would prefer to avoid the travel and inconvenience associated with attending appointments face-to-face.
Private Health Rebates
If you have private health insurance you may be eligible to claim rebates for your psychology appointments. The level of cover and any applicable waiting periods varies between providers.
To find out if you are eligible and/or how much funding you are entitled to claim for psychological treatment, please contact your private health insurer.
