Private Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance you may be eligible to claim rebates for psychology sessions.
The level of cover and any applicable waiting periods vary between providers and depend on your extras policy. To find out if you are eligible and/or how much funding you are entitled to claim for psychology sessions, please contact your private health insurer directly.
Common Item Numbers
100 – Initial Consultation with Registered or Clinical Psychologist.
200 – Follow-up Consultation with Registered or Clinical Psychologist.
300 – Couples Therapy Consultation with Registered or Clinical Psychologist.
701 – Initial Telehealth Consultation with Registered or Clinical Psychologist.
801 – Follow-up Telehealth Consultation with Registered or Clinical Psychologist.
Payment and Rebate Details
Payment is due on the day of treatment. A private health rebate may apply to privately billed appointments. Please confirm your eligibility with your Private Health Fund. We will provide you with a receipt that can be used to make a claim directly with your fund as we are unable to submit claims on your behalf.
